April has been an amazing month in terms of exceeding all of my expectations of what I am capable of in terms of running. I already ran 75 miles in the first 27 days. I couldn’t have imagined myself doing even a fraction of it last year. If my knees didn’t complain so much how uncomfortable they are with the hills of Beverly Hills and the surrounding areas, I think I could’ve put in even more miles. But everything is good in moderation. It’s never a good idea to push oneself too hard. Injuries are not pretty. I definitely need to focus more on stretching and strengthening, because it really makes a difference in the long run.
Excited about seeing what I can achieve in May. I have 2 running events on the calendar:
Santa Barbara Wine Country Half-Marathon and CalCPA 10K.
Really looking forward to seeing myself conquer 13.1 miles and improving my time on the 10K!
