This week I accidentally stumbled upon an adaptation of a play my fiancé saw last year in New York and raved about for a few weeks. And what a great find it was! We bought tickets right away and saw it two days ago. It was fun, beautiful, and very well produced. I was transported into the futuristic world from the first moments of the show and the feeling lingered long after we left the theater. I never read the original Philip K. Dick’s science-noir tale from 1968, but watched Ridley Scott’s 1982 movie Blade Runner. The show is playing at Sacred Fools Theater on Melrose Ave until October 19. I would go watch it again if only I had more free time.
